Corporate HSE Standards in Crane Operations: Five Fundamental Principles
Non-negotiable operational safety principles established through 17 years of field experience.
Author: İSG Departmanı
1. Personnel movement under suspended loads is strictly prohibited; the operation perimeter is cordoned off.
2. When wind speed exceeds the 10 m/s threshold, operations are suspended. This decision is not left to operator discretion; it is mandated by central oversight mechanisms.
3. Sling inspection is repeated before each lifting operation; prior inspection does not constitute exception.
4. Crane outrigger pads are reinforced with steel plates depending on ground conditions.
5. On-site communication is maintained simultaneously through dual channels: radio and hand signals.
